Word of the Lord for 2024 – Covenant with God our Healer

The year 2024 in the Gregorian calendar is 5784 in the Hebrew calendar. The Word of the Lord for a year is derived from the symbology of the Hebrew calendar year. The last two digits in the year 5784 represent the decade of 80. In Hebrew, 80 is Pey meaning the mouth signifying the words we speak. We can speak words of life or death and that is what we will have. The Hebrew pictogram of the letter Pey even looks like a mouth. Pey also represents voice and using our voice to make a sound that causes movement in the atmosphere that breaks open a path before us so we can navigate through difficult, adverse situations. This whole decade of 5780 in Hebrew is a decade to use our mouths, our voices to make a sound that pierces through chaos, confusion, darkness, and speak to whatever needs to be healed, restored, and redeemed.
The number 4 in 5784 in Hebrew represents Dalet, which means a door or gate and to lift. It indicates resistance, and the state of selflessness and humility required to pass through it. Dalet is the fourth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The Torah, which is the first five books of the bible, contain four expressions of redemption.
When God took the Jewish people out of Egypt, He told them, (1) “I will take you out,” meaning out of bondage and captivity. (2) “I will save you,” meaning saving them from their enemies and lost condition. (3) “I will redeem you,” redeem is a rescue mission that restores everything that has been stolen from you. (4) “I will take you to Me as a nation,” meaning there will be no more Pharoah with yokes of bondage and rods of oppression to rule over a people, tribe, or nation. The Lord God was saying that He will provide, deliver, protect, heal, and be the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
These first three expressions involve God’s intervention. The fourth redemptive act requires personal and communal action. All four of these redemptive acts are available to us this year of 2024. God has set before us a Dalet, an open door that we can choose to enter. This door opens according to the words that we speak. It is voice activated so there must be a sound in our voice that has a frequency that is motivated out of love and devotion to God and to others.
On the Day of Atonement, September 24, 2023, I was on an apostolic prayer call with our state and we began to pray over the Mayo Clinic when I was reminded of the Hippocratic Oath physicians make upon graduation from medical schools and that these oaths are made to gods and goddesses. The first sentence of that oath reads, “I swear by Apollo the physician, and Aesculapius the surgeon likewise Hygeia and Panacea, and call all the gods and goddesses to witness, that I will observe and keep this underwritten oath, to the utmost of my power and judgment.”
When we speak an oath or a vow, we are making a covenant agreement with another party. Perhaps not all medical schools today have their physicians make this same Hippocratic Oath, but the origins of the medical field have its roots in these covenants made to these gods and goddesses. It is a pledge of medical ethics and is one of the oldest documents in history dating back to the 5th Century.
The four main gods and goddesses named in this Hippocratic oath are Apollo the god of healing, truth, and prophecy, Aesculapius the surgeon god, Hygeia is the goddess of health, cleanliness, and sanitation, (where we derived the word hygiene) and Panacea goddess of treatment and cures in the form of medicines, salves, other curatives, and overall wellness. Some of the gods and goddesses noted as the witnesses to those citing the Hippocratic Oath are; Laso goddess of healing, recovering, and recuperation; Aceso goddess of the healing process; Aegle goddess of good health; Machaon a god healer physician; Podalerios a god of legendary healing; Telesphoros a child-god healer; Aratus a healing god of recuperation from illness or injury; Aristodene wife to Aesculapius who gave birth to Aratus who came in the form of a dragon, and Epione goddess of soothing pain.
Apollo, a deity of Greek and Roman religion and mythology was said to be the father of Aesculapius and grandfather to the other gods and goddesses. He is the patron deity of Delphi, previously called Pytho, the seat of Pythia. According to the myth, Apollo is said to have killed the huge serpent Python with his bow and arrow at Delphi because Python would not allow Apollo be recognized for his oracles. Apollo is an oracular god, the prophetic deity of the Delphic Oracle referred to in Acts 16, and the deity of ritual purification. Of course, Apollo as a prophetic deity and his oracles did not originate from the Spirit of truth spoken of in John 16:13, but instead were false pronouncements of divination. These false pronouncements may have come in the form of written and spoken diagnosis as the father of healing.
Hecate is the counterpart of Apollo, and a goddess of magic and medicine. She is also associated with crossroads, intersections, borders, city walls, doorways, and protector of households. After purchasing a home in a prophetic community, I was asleep at night, but awakened to the sense of someone standing beside my bed. When I opened my eyes, I saw what looked like a very old wrinkled woman. Discerning it was something demonic, I commanded it to leave and it left immediately. The next day in ministry class, I shared with our instructor what I had seen. She said others have reported seeing this spiritual ugly old woman and identified her as Hecate. In the spirit realm these gods and goddess do exist, and when we swear an oath to them especially by name as in this Hippocratic Oath, we are making a covenant with them, invoking their witchcraft and occultic services upon us. There are multitudes of demonic entities like this that have a legal right to create a stronghold, a network structure, in our medical culture.
Exodus 20:3 and Deuteronomy 5:7 say, “You shall have no other gods before Me.” As idolatry is exposed, we can choose to come out of agreement with this deceptive covenant by repenting and renouncing it, so it does not have a negative effect in our lives. Jeremiah 46:11 says, “We shall take many medicines and not be cured.” But there is a balm in Gilead that heals and Jesus Christ is that balm. Jesus’ blood paid the complete price for our salvation, deliverance, and healing. God Almighty, reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha, meaning the Lord who heals in Exodus 15:26.
Prayer; In obedience to Your Word Lord God, we use our mouth, our voice, in this year of Pey 5784 to repent of and renounce the ungodly covenant that was made centuries ago over our medical culture that founded our healing and wellness on divination, occult, witchcraft, and financial greed.
Father God, we repent of and renounce the Hippocratic Oath and any other oath that the medical field has spoken or has come into agreement with to covenant with idol gods and goddesses. We say their influence of divination, occult, witchcraft, and financial greed is broken from off our lives through the power of the name of Jesus Christ. We apply the powerful blood of Jesus Christ to this door of divination, occult, witchcraft, and financial greed in our medical field and declare its influence is broken from off of our entire medical system. We bind the divination coming from the Delphi Oracles maintained through financial robbery, for declaring false prophecies over our lives in Jesus’ name. (Acts 16:19).
I Decree, healing, health, and miracles over your body and over your life in Jesus’ name.
I Decree, every cancerous tumor to fall off of your body now in Jesus’ mighty name.
I Decree, eyes see, and ears open in Jesus’ name.
I Decree, the lame to walk, and the paralytic to take up their bed and walk in Jesus’ name.
I Decree, blood disorders be cleansed, organs not working be made whole again in Jesus’ name.
I Decree, the dead will be raised up to live by the power of the name of Jesus.’
Lord God, heal Your people and receive all the Glory!
